Authenticity & Sourcing
Are your fragrances genuine?
Yes. Every fragrance we sell is verified genuine before it reaches you. We source exclusively from established wholesale distributors and vetted secondary-market fragrance suppliers — the same supply channels used by independent specialty fragrance retailers across the United States.
Each batch goes through an inspection process covering packaging, fill level, batch codes, and scent profile before we offer it for sale.
Are you an authorized retailer of the brands you carry?
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized retailer of any of the designer, niche, or luxury fragrance brands featured on our website. Brand names and product names are used for identification purposes only.
We operate as an independent fragrance retailer sourcing through established wholesale and secondary-market channels. This is a common and legal model for independent fragrance retailers — it simply means we are not bound by brand-set pricing or geographic exclusivity agreements.
Where do your fragrances come from?
We source from wholesale distributors and reputable secondary-market fragrance suppliers that we have evaluated and vetted over time. We do not source from counterfeit suppliers, unverified vendors, or any source we cannot trace.
Secondary-market sourcing is standard practice among independent fragrance retailers and allows us to offer genuine fragrances at competitive prices without being locked into a single brand's authorized distribution network.
What if I have a concern about the authenticity of my order?
Contact us immediately at info@opulentfragrance.net. Authenticity concerns are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not subject to our standard return condition requirements. We take every authenticity inquiry seriously and will work with you to resolve it promptly — including issuing a full refund where warranted.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Fragrances are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided the bottle is unused and the original packaging — box, cellophane, cap, and any included accessories — is intact and undamaged.
We cannot accept returns of opened or used fragrances, as these cannot be resold. Authenticity concerns are an exception to this condition — see below.
How do I start a return?
Email us at info@opulentfragrance.net with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or defective. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item. We do not charge restocking fees.
Can I return an opened fragrance?
We cannot accept returns of opened or used fragrances under our standard return policy, as they cannot be resold.
The only exception is an authenticity concern. If you believe a product you received is not genuine, contact us at info@opulentfragrance.net regardless of whether the bottle has been opened. Authenticity disputes are handled separately and are not subject to the standard return condition requirements.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive your returned item, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is issued. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional 2–5 business days to appear on your statement.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping generally takes 3–7 business days after processing. Expedited options may be available at checkout depending on your location.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use that number to track your package directly on the carrier's website. If you don't receive a shipping confirmation within 3 business days of your order, contact us at info@opulentfragrance.net.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. If you're outside the US and interested in ordering, reach out to us at info@opulentfragrance.net and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your order.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, email us at info@opulentfragrance.net within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments using SSL encryption. We do not store your payment details. Charges appear on your statement as Opulent Fragrance.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We process orders quickly, so changes and cancellations are only possible within a short window after the order is placed. Email us immediately at info@opulentfragrance.net with your order number and we'll do our best to accommodate the request before it ships.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled — but you can initiate a return once it arrives.
Why was my payment declined?
Payment declines are usually handled by your bank or card issuer, not by us. Common reasons include incorrect billing address, insufficient funds, or a fraud hold placed by your bank. We recommend contacting your card issuer first. If the issue persists, try an alternative payment method or reach out to us at info@opulentfragrance.net.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state tax laws. The tax amount, if any, will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase.
